Isofrax Revolutionary New Woven And Non-Woven Materials For High Temperature Insulation

Isofrax high temperature insulation has a unique patented Silica-Magnesia chemistry. Isofrax materials allow for higher service temperatures than Insulfrax products, but also meet European Health & Safety regulations for in-vitro solubility of refractory ceramic fiber.  Isofrax is now available in various product forms including fibers, blankets, modules, and papers.

Isofrax High Temperature Insulation Isofrax magnesium-silicate-based fiber is recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1260oC (2300oF) - for improved thermal stability over Insulfrax. Isofrax in-vitro solubility characteristics also meet European regulatory requirements for synthetic vitreous high temperature insulation fibers. As with Fiberfrax, Isofrax products exhibit high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, and high thermal shock resistance. Isofrax Product Forms Isofrax products are available from Unifrax in several producr forms to solve a wide range of high temperature insulation and heat processing problems: Isofrax Fiber, Isofrax fiber needled blanket, Isofrax Anchor-Loc modules, Isofrax bonded modules, and Isofrax paper. Isofrax Applications Isofrax products are used in a wide range of applications including refractory linings, high temperature insulation, fire protection and metals transfer.
