St Kitts has about 19 popular beaches, mostly facing the peaceful Caribbean Sea on it's SouthEast peninsula. There are many more smaller secluded beaches and coves all around the coastline, and the 'black sand' beaches at the Northern end of St Kitts were worn by the Atlantic Ocean from dark volcanic rock.
