The Basementsaver BP1 emergency backup pumping system is an advanced battery backup sump pump representing Your most cost-effective reliable low-maintenance battery backup choice for most residential applications with normal to high basement sump flow rates. This NEW BP1 advanced battery backup sump pump has been specifically re-designed for super-easy homeowner installation:
Average Pumping Rate: 1,800 gph (9ft lift) 2,600 gph (5 ft lift to discharge)
Note - Optional 'Out-Of-Sump' BP2 Battery Backup Sump Pump (1,400 gph) and BP3 Battery Backup Sump Pump (3,000 gph) offer alternate pumping rates, and may be used where sump pit space is too limited for the BP1 'submerged' battery backup sump pump.
Basementsaver BP1 Pump Float Switch Options:
The Standard BP1 Model features a Tethered Float Switch (as shown)
The standard tethered float is attached to the pump unit, but it may be alternatively attached to your discharge tube. The floating tether length may also be adjusted to allow highly flexible positioning of the float within your sump pit. Since the BP1 backup pump will normally be installed ABOVE your primary sump pump and float, the Standard BP1 with tethered float is usually your most cost-effective choice.
The Optional BP1-VF Model (not shown) features a Vertical Action Float Switch
The vertical action float switch consists of a captured float that moves vertically on a rod. A vertical action float is the optimum choice for sump pits with restricted space, where the free movement of a tethered float could allow it to get tangled or trapped (Note; BP2 Battery Backup Pump is specifically designed for sump pits with restricted space).
