Antigua & Barbuda are located in the middle of the Leeward Islands in the northeastern Caribbean, to the north of Montserrat and Guadaloupe, and to the south and east of Anguilla, Nevis, St. Kitts, St. Barts, and St. Martin.

For great food and good value on Antigua; Big Banana Pizza (St Johns), and both the Mad Mongoose and Skullduggery Cafe (Internet Access) in Falmouth Harbour have great reputations.

Antigua & Barbuda host fine hotels and resorts, and there are many vacation apartments available. We are currently unaware of any inns or B&B's.

Inside Advice - Block booking is prevalent in the Antiguan hospitality industry, so if you wish to stay at a hotel or apartment on Antigua you will get the best price by reserving your accommodations online. Otherwise, you may find it difficult to find an available room, and your stay will be relatively expensive.

Antiguas' Beaches & Waters

Antiguas tropical shoreline offers you 336 powdery coral sand beaches. You can fish, swim, snorkel, paddleboat, kayak, sail, windsurf, waterski, or even parasail right from the beach. Alternately, learn to dive with PADI-certified instructors and take one of the many dive boats to scuba-dive on pristine reefs and wrecks in deeper waters. Whatever you do, you'll have the time of your life in Antigua's waters.

Antigua's consistent trade winds, sunny weather and warm tropical waters make it a sailors paradise: small boat races, yacht challenges, regattas, local and long-distance sailing events to other Caribbean islands. Every year, at the beginning of May, Antigua hosts one of the top international racing events in the sailing calendar - Sailing Week races at English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour
